Oakdale recognizes work, paid or unpaid, as an important part of satisfying personal and community life. Oakdale understands that there are certain skills necessary that are common to any job and staff work with individuals at all levels to acquire these necessary skills. Through informal discussions, modeling, and role playing, as well as through the use of community programs, individuals adopt these skills and are continually encouraged and supported to display them and refine them at their places of employment.
